Taylor Fritz is working with my old coach Paul Annacone. He’s workedwith Fritz for a long time and he’s looking for that big breakthrough in aGrand Slam. He never let his head drop against Zverev and played more aggressively asthe match went on.

    Musetti v Fritz

Lorenzo Musetti and Taylor Fritz have both had strong summers on the grass this year.

Italian Musetti made the semi-finals of the Stuttgart Open, losing to former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini and then backed that up with a run to the Queens final, impressively beating Alex de Minaur en route.

Fritz lost in the quarter-finals at Queens Club but the American rebounded to win the Eastbourne title for the third time.

Potentially we would have irritated fans asking why it's been moved from Court One if it was switched.

Italian Musetti has won their most recent encounter, though, when he beat Fritz in Monte-Carlo Masters earlier this year.

You wouldn't have expected a quarter-final between Lorenzo Musetti and Taylor Fritz when the draw was made, but that's what we have in store next up on Court One.

Italian Musetti, 22, is the 25th seed and in his first ever Grand Slam quarter-final, while American 13th seed Fritz, 26, gained a superb five-set win over fourth seed Alexander Zverev in round four to get into the last eight.

This is Fritz's fourth Slam quarter-final, and his second here, but he has lost all of the previous three.

Both players will see this a great chance to record the biggest wins of their career, with Novak Djokovic, who benefitted from the withdrawal of Alex de Minaur to get a walkover win, waiting as the opponent in the semi-finals.

It has turned into a lovely afternoon, the roof is open, the sun is shining, the sky is blue. We have an outdoor match to look forward to and it should be a great one.
