Anyone have trouble with Wifi connecting? I just purchased an IPhone 15 Pro Max and when I set up, it required iOS 17.3 update. Although I just used the phone for 1 day, it started messing up. The wifi cannot connect and when I tried to access the Wifi on Settings, the whole phone just stopped working immediately. I had to restart it. The keyboard is supper laggy too.

My iPhone SE v2 failed to restart after the "update". Showed that the USB port would not connect to the computer and would not restart. Apple's various online suggested fixes don't work. I fear that Apple has now bricked my phone as it cannot connect to the computer to do anything. No restore or update is possible. Just a dead phone that won't even stay turned off [until the battery runs down?]
What is Apple going to do about this?

after the update my phone has been lagging ( unable to open apps/ texting normally)
my battery is dying much much faster and having trouble turning back on once dead as well as showing the number instead of the contact.
REALLY HOPE THAT THIS ALL GETS FIXED SOON . Feeling uneasy about not having a working phone if needed

I didn't have this issue before iOS 17.3; it only started after the update.

It turned out that I "fixed" this by accident. Restarting my Windows iTunes it required a login to the Apple store. This then triggered a large upload of a file which then allowed my iPhone to be reconnected to the computer. From there it was just time needed (over an hour) to reset my iPhone to factory settings and then restore my iPhone. A further hour was taken to reload all the apps on the phone.
So the failure to connect was purely a software issue that was known by the developers, yet not communicated to support, nor apparently by QA. So much aggravation and stress caused by poor documentation and poor Apple support online, not to mention that Apple assumes another working phone to work with support rather than chat/email on the website. Security feature or just plain thoughtless incompetence?

I've had some problems with my 13 mini, like: unresponsive touch, random app crashes, and my network signal is worse than ever
If I'm talking with someone, I need to restart the phone, to get Internet back from my carrier.

Same thing is happening to me now after update. This is not a phone problem but an iOS update problem. I use my phone more hours out of the day than I would like to admit. This is a problem. Seems to be more when watching youtube videos. This never happened before.

I’m having issues with the keyboard.
I’ve purchased a new phone Monday, when I was setting up the device the new update, iOS 17.3 started.
Due to accidents in the past I went straight to a shop and got a protection for the screen.
I thought that was the issue.
Keyboard won’t keep up, letters freeze. I’ve started to google it and I can see I’m not the only one. This is making me so mad. I can’t type properly. It became a nightmare.
Any recommendations?

iOS 13
- Yes, I've got into a pickle with this heat problem too. 13.3.1 was fine (for iOS13) but then came 13.5 and boom the heat started. From there I quickly went back to 13.4 and no joy. I then downloaded 13.5.1 and still no joy. When 13.6 arrived I jumped on it, what did I have to lose. After two days it started heating up again, bugger. It was then I thought I might as well jump on the iOS14 Beta program. The first beta was pretty bad but I waited and Beta 3 was better. We still had heat...

- Agree. Let’s create some new emojis and other trivial things over fixing the freezing and heating up issues caused by IOS13. I never had these issues on IOS12. I have advised Apple that my phone gets extremely hot causing me to remove from my person because it burns my skin. If it heats up to the point that something else occurs the look out. As I said I parted with my hard earned for this phone and to put up with this for several months. Please make rectifying this a priority other...

Hello SravanKrA,
Thank you for the details you shared, I also tried to restore my iphone to a certain period with the same IOS version (17.3) to see what will happen and if the heating/battery draining still persist.

iTunes said it was restoring to factory settings, but if it did so to clear the device, it then went on to restore it from my computer with the local backup. The apps seemed to take about an hour to fully reload. Most of the data was restored. The only "loss" was the recently used contacts that show in my share options for websites, and the "commonly used" websites. AFAIK, no contact losses based on perusing known recent additions.
So it did do the full restore without any additional help from me. *breathes huge sigh of relief*. My wife who has an Android phone was saying this should be a good reason to abandon Apple. I would but for a large curated iTunes library that, so far, I have not found a way to port to Windows so that an Android device can use it seamlessly. [But if/when that happens...]
